We’d like to keep you updated on the food options at our Göppingen location. We’ll be posting the latest information here regularly:
Uptdate 01 April 2026
From April 13 to July 17, the Alb Fils Clinic will be providing hot meals at the Göppingen cafeteria. The menu will alternate between vegetarian dishes, meat dishes, and fish dishes:
- Monday: a meat dish
- Tuesday: a vegetarian meal
- Wednesday: a fish dish
- Thursday: a meat dish
- Friday: a meat dish
As usual, you can check our menu to see exactly what’s on offer each day.
The price per meal is 5.40 Euro for students and 8.40 Euro for staff.
These meals complement our existing cafeteria offerings. There, you’ll also find vegan and vegetarian options every day: sweet and savory snacks, sandwiches, salads, and vegan cutlets and meatballs from the hot food counter.
Update 29 January 2026
The working group held its first meeting.
In the coming weeks, the coffee machines will be converted to accept cashless payments. To offer you a wider selection on-site, we are working on getting the vending machine station back up and running. A specific date will be announced shortly.
Update December 2025
The cafeteria serves meals for the Göppingen campus. We offer a hot meat dish here. Originally, we had the Veganer Renner on the menu every day. However, following a meeting on December 10, 2025, with students and staff from the university, we switched to a meat dish at the request of the students present.
We offer vegan and vegetarian options in the form of sweet and savory snacks, sandwiches, salads, and vegan schnitzel or meatballs from the hot food counter.
A working group is being formed to further plan catering services in Göppingen: the Stuttgart Student Union will be represented by its managing director and the head of catering. Representatives from the university will also participate.
