Parking on the Vaihingen Campus

Starting August 1, 2026, parking on the University of Stuttgart’s Vaihingen campus will be subject to a fee. The Parkraumgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg (PBW) will manage the more than 30 parking areas, which offer a total of approximately 2,600 parking spaces.

A discounted rate applies to students and employees of the institutions located on campus. Valid identification is required to use these rates.

Long-term parking and semester rates now available for booking

Since June 15, 2026, long-term parking permits can be booked via the mypbw.de portal. In addition to a monthly long-term parking contract, PBW also offers a special semester rate for students. This costs 125 euros for six months.

Those who need a parking space before the start of the semester can alternatively use the daily parking option.

New parking rates for students

Starting July 1, 2026, registration for the “Daily Parking” product will also be available. Additional, particularly affordable rates have been introduced for students:

• Daily parking (street parking, without guaranteed parking space): 4 euros per day
• Special rate during the main road closure (August 1–September 12, 2026): 2 euros per day
• Monthly pass (street parking, no guaranteed parking space): 25 euros per month
