Want to travel to Alsace or all the way to Paris for free this summer with the Deutschlandticket? It’s possible again!
In July and August 2026, the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Grand Est region will once again mutually recognize train tickets for young people. To be eligible, you must be under 28 years of age, reside in Baden-Württemberg, and hold a Deutschlandticket. This means you can ride all “TER Fluo” regional trains in the Grand Est region for free during this period. Nothing stands in the way of visiting Alsace and cities like Strasbourg, Reims, Metz, or Paris. Bon voyage!
